01Limited category availability
We deliberately cap the number of similar businesses. Reaching the category limit moves new applicants to a waitlist rather than creating a hallway of direct competitors.
Example: boutique and clothing spaces are limited, and accepted boutiques must offer meaningfully different assortments, audiences, styles or price points.
02No copy-paste businesses
A different business name does not make a concept different. Applicants should bring a clear specialty, useful service, expertise, original work, strong curation, local sourcing, a meaningful value advantage or another reason customers would specifically seek them out.
Booths made primarily from easily available catalog items with little curation, service or value may be declined.
0330% below online for mass-marketplace resale
If an in-person vendor sells an item sourced from Temu, SHEIN, Amazon or a comparable mass online marketplace, the selling price must be at least 30% lower than the normal publicly available online price for the identical item.
Online$10Market max $7
Online$25Market max $17.50
Online$50Market max $35
Online$100Market max $70
Management may request a current product link, screenshot or other price reference. Temporary first-time-user credits, personalized coupons and similar one-off promotions do not have to be treated as the normal comparison price.
04Repeated products may be limited
Category approval does not create permission to duplicate another business's inventory. When the same or substantially similar product is already strongly represented, management may ask a vendor to remove, reduce or replace overlapping items.
Major changes to a vendor's primary merchandise mix should be discussed with management before the next market weekend.
05Represent products truthfully
Do not describe imported, wholesale or mass-market goods as handmade, locally made, vintage, authorized, exclusive or original unless that description is accurate. Counterfeit goods and intentionally misleading brand claims are not permitted.
06Build a real business presence
Spaces should be stocked, organized, priced and presented like a small business—not an unattended pile of miscellaneous merchandise. Vendors are expected to maintain their space, communicate with customers and participate consistently during scheduled market hours.
07Value matters
The incubator is intended to reduce overhead for entrepreneurs and create value for residents. We welcome resale, liquidation and closeout concepts when there is a clear customer benefit, strong curation or meaningful savings—not simply a markup on products customers can order themselves.
08The mix can evolve
Trinity Trade Post may adjust category limits, decline individual products, place applicants on a waitlist or ask an existing business to refine its assortment when needed to protect the overall customer experience and market diversity.
